Srinagar, July 18: The death toll due to COVID-19 in Kashmir rose to 219 as six more deaths were recorded in the Division on Saturday

Sources in the health department told that Slain Baramulla man is the fresh victim of covid19. CRPF soldier too among six more persons succumbed due to COVID-19 in Kashmir on Saturday.

The official said among one each from Bandipora, Budgam, Kulgam, Anantnag, Baramulla and Pulwama districts.

Official sources while sharing details to Kashmir Despatch said an 80-year-old woman from Putushay Bandipora, a 60-year-old man from KB Pora Kulgam, a 55-year-old man from Sallar Anantnag, a 50-year-old woman from Arigam Budgam, a resident of BunglowBagh Baramulla and a 52-year-old CRPF personnel from Assam, who was posted at Awantipora Pulwama.

With these six fresh deaths, the total number of people who died due to COVID-19 in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir has reached 237, among 219 in Kashmir and 18 from Jammu.
