News Desk/ The News Cradle: The department of UG BUMS, University of Kashmir, Hazratbal has request for alternative way to conduct exams other than pen and paper examination amid the lockdown.

The students fear that the examination schedule has already become overdue by a year because of continuous uncertainty and lockdown from last year due to COVID19 and other issues. They say that this has prolonged the duration of their degree and has created an apprehensive mental trauma among the students.

The students of UG BUMS 2nd Year Batch has submitted an application to the exam controller, University of Kashmir regarding the matter. The students while mentioning other professional universities like SKUAST-K, ADESH UNIVERSITY or IIT Maharashtra of India have urged to be promoted on the bases of our internal examination and viva of Kashmir University.

Maximum students in the university are hailing from red zones and many have left for their homes in other parts of the state making it difficult for them to appear for examination.
