HIGH DRAMA AT BARAMULLA MUNICIPAL COUNCIL: NO CONFIDENCE MOTION AGAINST PRESIDENT

Faraz Ashraf/Baramulla: High drama was seen in Baramulla Municipal Council today as No confidence motion was filed against the President.

Earlier Srinagar Municipal corporation has seen similar kind of drama where Non confidence motion was first filed against Deputy Mayor and then Mayor lost confidence motion.

Pertinently mention that Vice Presidential elections were held today in which Ashiq Hussain Ganai lost by 3 votes and Mudasir Ahmad Tantray was declared Vice President of BMC.

Reports suggest that Ashiq Hussain ganai had support of President while Mudasir Ahmad Tantray was supported by Ex-Vice President Abid Salam

As per sources councillor Abid Salam has filed No Confidence Motion againt President of BMC today after winning of Mudasir Ahmad Tantray.

We have recieved an application of No Confidence Motion from a councillor against president, said Executive Officer BMC

Its pertinent to mention that Abid salam who was earlier elected as Vice President too had to leave his chair after he lost the floor test.
